Advanced Class Spring 2008!
Advanced Class Spring 2008!
Advanced Class Spring Line Up -2008.
There will be four fishing days with the Spring Advanced Class, 2008.  We will meet on Tuesdays and we will fish on Saturdays. All the trips will take place during the month of May.  It is likely that we will fish in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. However, none of the trips have been set in stone and at this point are subject to change. In fact one trip has yet to be determined.
What I can tell you about the trips are that they are amazing and you are sure to have a good time. Also, you need to know that every Spring Advanced Class has sold out dating back to 1996. So, if you are planning to sign up for the Spring Advanced Class do so early.  Furthermore, if you have to cancel the class, for whatever reason, please let me know so I can refill your spot.  There generally is a waiting list for spots in the class. I like to move people from that list into the class when a spot opens up. -mike Questions often asked about the Advanced Class. Are the trips expensive?
No, very cheap. The cost is only meals, gas and a fishing license.  (Which by the way you can get from this web page.) Also, I do encourage car pooling. It makes the gas cheaper and fosters friendships, a hallmark of the class.  Picnic lunches are cheap and convenient too. However, I highly recommend eating breakfast with us as a group. The breakfasts are truly fun and that is when you get to meet everybody. Are the trips overnight?
No, well not by design. It is true however, that some students do stay the night for convenience and a desire to fish in the destination for two days. But most of the students meet me in front of the high school and we caravan/carpool together from there to the destinations starting early on Saturday mornings.
Do I need to be a good fisherman?
No. You only have to have completed one of the beginning classes offered.

What do I need to know?
All that you need to know I will teach you in the classroom session. ______________________________________________________________________________
Note: All potential students must understand that Davis High School is in no way connected to the fishing days.  And that the students are only insured to injury while in the classroom at Davis High. That the trips are only the responsibility of each student, acting as a private individual, on their own, fishing with only the privileges purchased under the individuals own fishing license. Furthermore, that these trips are not guided. That the instructor is not a guide. Also, that we are all only fishing together as private individuals outside of the class. Lastly that, the safety and well being of each individual is only the responsibility of each private individual and is at your own risk.
